About Faceliftology
Faceliftology was originally created 15 years ago to represent Dr. Paul S. Howard, a board-certified plastic surgeon. What began as “Faceliftology – The Facelift Blog” and a marketing platform for her husband was the vision of its creator and founder, Pamela Howard, who coined the Faceliftology name. From the very beginning, it was Pamela’s dream to build something far greater than one surgeon’s perspective — a dedicated worldwide educational platform for facial rejuvenation.
With Dr. Howard’s world-class training under legendary pioneers Dr. Ralph Millard (a leader in cleft and craniofacial surgery) and Dr. Paul Tessier (widely regarded as the father of modern craniofacial surgery), Faceliftology was built to cut through marketing hype and give patients clear, clinically grounded information about facial rejuvenation surgery.
Following Dr. Howard’s retirement, Pamela guided the evolution of Faceliftology into an independent educational platform and network focused exclusively on facial rejuvenation surgery. Today it remains true to its founding mission: to empower patients with accurate knowledge about how facelifts are performed, how techniques differ in practice, and how surgical decisions directly influence outcomes.
At its core, Faceliftology is built on surgical reality rather than buzzwords. Our content is developed with deep clinical insight and reviewed by board-certified plastic surgeons who specialize in facial rejuvenation. We explain the structural and anatomical principles behind procedures—mini facelifts, SMAS techniques, deep plane approaches, recovery timelines, tissue remodeling, and more—so you can make informed decisions based on facts, not confusion.
Whether you’re just beginning your research, comparing procedure options, or preparing for surgery, Faceliftology is here to guide you. We believe that real understanding leads to natural-looking, long-lasting results and greater confidence in your journey.
Your facelift journey begins with knowledge. Welcome to Faceliftology.
